What this website is.

This website describes a hospitality platform that is in development ahead of a planned launch. It is information about a product in development. Nothing on it is an offer to supply the platform, and features, pricing and timing may change.

Registering interest.

Registering interest tells us that you would like to hear about the launch. It does not create a contract, reserve a place or oblige either of us to anything. We will contact you about your registration using the details you give us, as our privacy policy explains.

The first 6 months free offer applies to venues that register before launch and start on the platform after it. We may change the offer before launch. If we do, we will email every registered venue before the change takes effect. Separate customer terms, which we will give you before you start, govern any subscription to the platform.

Intellectual property.

All content on this website, including text, images, the surcharge checklist and the Unyx Labs name and mark, belongs to Unyx Labs or is used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own venue's use. You may not copy, reproduce or republish any part of the website for commercial purposes, or use the Unyx Labs name or mark, without our written permission.

Acceptable use.

You may not use the website to submit false or misleading information, to register on behalf of a venue without its authority, to send us unsolicited commercial material or to interfere with the website or the systems behind it. We may remove a registration that breaks these terms.

Third-party figures and dates.

The website quotes figures drawn from published sources, including the card surcharge rules that apply from 1 October 2026 and the monthly cost of the till, payment and other software subscriptions a venue commonly runs. Each figure is stated with its source and the date we fetched it. We take care to quote accurately, but we do not control those sources and they may change without notice. Check the source before relying on a figure, and check with your own bank or provider before making a decision about your venue.

The surcharge checklist.

The surcharge checklist is general information for cafes, restaurants, bars, takeaways and multi-venue groups. It is not legal, financial or tax advice, and it does not take account of your venue's circumstances. Terminal and bank arrangements differ, and the card schemes and your payment provider enforce the rules. Check your own terminal and your own bank, and get professional advice if you need it.

Liability.

The Australian Consumer Law gives you guarantees that cannot be excluded, and nothing in these terms limits them. Beyond those guarantees, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the website or from relying on information on it, including loss of revenue or profit. Where the law lets us limit liability for a breach of a guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the information again.

Links.

The website links to third-party sites, including the Reserve Bank, the ACCC and banks. We are not responsible for their content and a link is not an endorsement.

Changes to these terms.

We may change these terms at any time by updating this page. The date at the top shows the current version. Your continued use of the website after a change means you accept the changed terms.

Governing law.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be dealt with in the courts of New South Wales.
